Job Description:
The Staff Canteen Steward is responsible for assisting in food service operations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the staff dining area and kitchen, and ensuring smooth and timely meal service for employees.
Job Requirements:
  • Set up the staff canteen and dining area before meal service

  • Serve food and beverages to staff in a polite and hygienic manner

  • Clear tables, clean dining areas, and maintain overall cleanliness

  • Wash dishes, trays, cutlery, and kitchen utensils

  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required

  • Ensure food counters and service areas are clean and well-organized

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times

  • Replenish dining area supplies such as water, tissues, and condiments

  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness in back-of-house areas
