Job Description:
  • The Environmental engineer will mainly focus on coordinating several environmental activities, overseeing submittal of environmental data, waste management, providing critical review to environmental standards and procedures, as well as maintaining environmental health issues.
  • Carrying out site assessments, conducting technical audits and evaluating environmental impact.
  • Develop site-specific health and safety protocols, such as spill contingency plans & methods for loading or transporting waste.
  • Assessing how a site complies with environmental regulations.
  • Prepare permit submittals to regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation and recommendation reports.
  • Maintain systems and records for waste management, sewage disposal, fuels, and chemicals.
  • Deliver or prepare information for environmental inductions.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation.
  • Carrying out Incidents, emergency response and grievances management reporting.
  • Assist in preparing regulatory compliance Management Plans (CEMP) and Reports.
  • Prepare Sampling Plan, collect field sampling data (air, soil, groundwater, discharged water, noise & vibration), analyze and interpret data.
  • Manage soil- water, noise, and air quality measurements, monitoring program.
  • Implements environmental, health and safety education and training to support regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor sites and procedures to confirm that works are following environmental regulation.
  • Coordinating all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy.
  • Control measures to reduce or eliminate the identified environmental impacts to acceptable levels.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environment engineering.
  • Experience with Environmental management system (EMS) and Air Quality and Meteorology.
  • Experience with Solid & Hazardous Waste Management.
  • Ability to propose and deploy digital technologies/solutions and innovative ideas to enhance Environment performance.
  • Strong communication skills, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making.
  • Capable of presenting Clearly and Effectively to Senior Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Preferred to have membership with internationally recognized technical societies and LEED Certified.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Environmental assessments, studies, investigations, analysis, and optimization, producing detailed reports and developing sound technical analysis.
