Job Description:
The Laundry Uniform Attendant is responsible for receiving, washing, ironing, storing, and issuing staff uniforms while ensuring cleanliness, proper care, and accurate inventory control in accordance with organizational standards.
Job Requirements:
  • Collect soiled staff uniforms from departments and issue clean uniforms as per schedule

  • Sort uniforms by fabric type, color, and washing requirements

  • Wash, dry, iron, press, and fold uniforms using appropriate equipment

  • Inspect uniforms for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report for repair or replacement

  • Maintain uniform inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels

  • Store uniforms neatly and hygienically

  • Maintain cleanliness of the uniform room and laundry equipment

  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and HR departments as required
