Job Description:
The Staff Canteen Attendant (Commis) is responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving meals to staff, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the staff canteen and kitchen area, ensuring safe and timely meal service.
Job Requirements:
  • Assist in preparation of food such as cleaning, cutting, and portioning ingredients

  • Support cooks and kitchen staff during daily meal preparation

  • Serve food to staff according to portion control and hygiene standards

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, canteen, dining area, and food counters

  • Wash utensils, dishes, trays, and kitchen equipment

  • Ensure proper storage of food items as per hygiene and safety standards

  • Follow food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times

  • Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing food supplies

  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep work areas organized
